I have found confidence I never knew would be possible. I have a group of sisters that don’t judge and lift each other up. I have found self esteem that has taken a lifetime. Being in an environment of empowered people learning together has healed many parts of my soul. This dance is something everyone can do and it speaks the same language of connectivity and togetherness. I am better in so many ways for conquering the fear. I am more patient, loving, empowering, focused, and spiritual due to this amazing experience.

I cannot recommend Black Cat Belly Dance enough! Sol is a fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable teacher. She is nit-picky in the absolute best of ways. I made the best and fastest progression in technique while learning from her. She also gathered together other amazing teachers in her online school to teach a variety of techniques and styles. I've loved every class I've ever taken with Black Cat Belly Dance!

Before taking the program I was a little lost and unsure of my physical capabilities. I was recovering from a running injury but still wanted some type of physical activity for my health. I had also wanted to try belly dancing but in my previous marriage I did not feel secure nor supported in doing so. While taking the courses in person and online I felt very supported by those around me and when I needed help. I had found friends and a family! My favorite thing was learning the history of the moves. My experience was an extreme confidence booster!! I would tell anyone thinking about it to definitely give it go!! Even for the friendships created, it's worth it.
